Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete Surveys to Westmorland and Furness Council Schools

The purpose of this commission is to carry out inspection surveys at Cumbria School properties to ascertain and record the following information:\r • Do the buildings contain roof structures that have been constructed using Reinforced Aerated Autoclaved Concrete (RAAC) planks? *\r • Where RAAC planks are identified, the Council requires the detail of the locations (detailed and marked on a site plan) as well as a synopsis of the current condition, and high-level proposal of how they be managed in the future.\r *Where the roof structure is not immediately visible on the first visit, the consultant will be required to provide the necessary temporary access equipment and a contractor, if required to 'open up' areas of ceilings within the properties to facilitate the inspection.
