Provision of CCTV in Licenced Vehicles

<p>As a condition of Licencing taxis in Warrington are required to possess a CCTV system for passenger and driver safety. Following a previous tender in 2019 over 600 licenced vehicles have such systems fitted by approved Service Providers under an approved four year framework. The framework is now being renewed for an additional four years and the Council is inviting Service Providers to provide their services that comply with the Technical Specification herein.</p> <p>The Service will comprise the modification, upgrade or removal of existing CCTV systems in vehicles and the replacement with a new System that can be de-activated when the vehicle is being used privately by means of a switch placed outside of the cabin area of the vehicle, when the vehicle is being used in a private capacity.</p> Keywords: fitting, cctv, Taxi, Electronic
