Production of practical, evidence-informed guidance for Irish mental health services on the adoption and implementation of a human rights-based approach to care and treatment

Tender description

The MHC is seeking tender submissions from suitably qualified academic bodies for the production of a clear and practical guidance for Irish Mental Health Services on the adoption and implementation of a rights-based approach in Irish services. It is intended that this document will be a key educational resource and driver for improvement in mental health services. • The project MUST be developed and delivered by a suitably qualified academic(s) with significant in depth national and international experience in the field of human rights and human rights informed approaches to care. • The report MUST be developed and delivered by a suitably qualified academic(s) with significant experience/expertise in the area of developing, producing and publishing evidence-based guidance documents for health and social care services including the experience/expertise in the area of research and consultation activities associated with the production process.
