<p>Please respond to: <strong>placementsearches@wigan.gov.uk ONLY </strong></p> <p>Wigan Council is seeking to work with an experienced provider who can deliver a registered solo placement in borough, for a young person who has a diagnosed learning disability, Autism and complex needs.&nbsp;</p> <p>Our preferred provider will:</p> <ul> <li>Have experience of being an Ofsted and / or CQC registered provider of residential services for children with LD and EBD. With a strong reputation for meeting the needs for children with health needs such as epilepsy.</li> <li>Provide loving, safe care in a local home for our young person, seven days per week, ensuring there are opportunities for him to thrive in the local community, support his education and participate in leisure activities.</li> <li>Meet the requirements as set out in the Social Care Inspection Framework (SCIF) and Children’s Homes Quality Regulations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Have expertise and experience in supporting young people with Autism, ADHD and who have a sensory processing need.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Wigan Council will:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Seek to undertake a direct contract award to the successful provider.</li> <li>Provide access to a network of multi-disciplinary professionals who are offering a comprehensive support package for our young person, ensuring that his needs are met.&nbsp;</li> <li>Support the provider to have access to clinicians, advice and further training.</li> <li>Provide access to a furnished council owned Children’s Home that has existing planning permission to operate or a suitable local home of the provider.</li> </ul> <p>Please respond to: <strong>placementsearches@wigan.gov.uk ONLY </strong></p> <p>Please email the above inbox anything other than this will not be responded to.</p> Keywords: Autism, Placement, Children, Residential
