This mini competition is only open to organisations who were successful in securing a place on the NTCA Post 16 Skills Framework in Lot 1 - Devolved Adult Skills Fund (formally devolved Adult Education Budget AEB) (“Potential Providers”). NTCA took control of the devolved Adult Education Budget on 1st August 2020. Since then, the government has devolved approximately £69m to the North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA), enabling adult learning priorities to be determined at a local level. It is anticipated that government will continue to devolve approximately £23m per year to the NTCA. This funding has supported a range of flexible high-quality education and skills provision, delivering a more responsive, accessible adult skills offer for residents of North of Tyne and employers.
