Tender description

Central Bedfordshire Council invite interested and suitable companies, that provide gritting services, to attend an engagement session at Grove View Health Hub, Dunstable, LU5 4GP, on Tuesday 18th April 2023. The event will run from 10:30am – 12:30pm. Lot 1: Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) will be undertaking the procurement of its Corporate Gritting Services. The contract will provide a winter gritting service. The appointed contractor will be responsible for the provision of gritting services, including snow/ice clearance and supply and replenishment of salt bins at the Council’s corporate office site as well as community buildings, community centres and care homes. The initial Contract Duration is 3 years with an option to extend by 12 months.CBC wish to invite interested and suitable companies, that provide gritting services, to attend an engagement session at Grove View Health Hub, Dunstable, LU5 4GP on Tuesday 18th April 2023. The event will run from 10:30am – 12:30pm. The Council would like to extend this invitation to companies and organisations of all sizes including local SME’s. Members of the Council’s Facilities Management service and Procurement teams will be in attendance to discuss the details of the opportunity, services required and the procurement process. Organisations must ensure that access to the In-Tend system is available to their representatives dealing with the contract and that this contact is updated as and when required.
