Tree Maintenance Projects: Arle Court

Tender description

To devise a maintenance plan for trees planted within 2022/23 planting season, covering a 3-year period. These trees have already been planted by contractor. GCC, Highways Major Projects have planted 1500 trees this planting season of these 102 are standards and 1400 whips. A maintenance package in place, to help encourage establishment and better survival rates, within the budgetary constraints to ensure good survival rate, which we are anticipating for 85% + . Reasonable endeavours to ensure that a minimum of 85% of trees are alive and successfully established by the end of Year 3. Successfully established means that the trees must be healthy and, in a condition, capable of continued growth given no further weeding but subject to normal ongoing maintenance operations such as thinning and pruning.
