Training for Economic and Financial Appraisal in Line with HSE Capital Projects Manual & Approvals Protocol

The services required consist of the following: 1. Information Gathering: a. Accompany HSE Estates Capital Unit who will be delivering training for 9 Nr. Days to the offices as per the below list; provide input to any economic and financial appraisal questions raised on the day; identify relevant knowledge gaps and gather information on how to prepare training materials to best respond to the needs of the Estates Offices (1 Nr. Senior Staff to accompany each day) b. List of HSE Estates Offices to be visited: i. St. John's Hospital Campus, Ballytivnan, Sligo ii. Gate Lodge, Merlin Park University Hospital, Galway iii. Holland Road, National Technology Park, Limerick iv. St. Finbarr's Hospital, Douglas Rd, Cork v. Lacken, Dublin Rd, Kilkenny vi. Bridge House, Cherry Orchard Hospital, Ballyfermot, Dublin 10 vii. Unit 7, Swords Business Campus, Balheary Rd, Swords, Co. Dublin viii. Sir Patrick Dun's Hospital, Lower Grand Canal Street, Dublin 2 ix. Bective Street, Kells, Co. Meath x. Arden Road, Tullamore, Co. Offaly 2. Preparation of training materials: a. Types: i. Training slide deck [MS PowerPoint] ii. Completed exemplar templates (1 Nr. Acute, 1 Nr. Community) [MS Excel] b. Content to support the Capital projects Manual & Appraisal Templates c. Copyright & Intellectual Property to be transferred to HSE Capital & Estates 3. Review training materials; and incorporate feedback: a. Allow for minimum of 2 Nr. remote meetings with HSE Capital Unit (MS Teams) b. Allow for review of materials by HSE Capital & Estates and edits/ redrafts as appropriate 4. Delivery of Training: a. 1 Nr. Senior Staff to visit each HSE Office (date to be agreed with HSE Capital & Estates) as per the below list. 9 Nr. Days plus 1 Nr. additional day, location TBC. b. List of HSE Estates Offices to be visited (as per 1b): 5. Additional works at HSE Capital & Estates request as may be agreed based on the tendered rates for staff.
