Thermal Drone Survey of landscape within Sussex Woods Protected Site Strategies pilot

Tender description

The aim of this contract is to undertake a landscape thermal drone survey of fallow deer within the pilot area which is approx. 20,000ha. the objective is to survey as much representative habitat across the area as possible. This will require surveying multiple individual landholdings over consecutive nights. The results will allow Natural England to monitor population trends within the local fallow deer population (of Western Downs) and review these alongside deer cull data and deer impact assessments.
