Tender description
City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council wishes to provide an update on its plans for the review of short breaks (respite) services for individuals with a learning disability and their carers. In line with the Council’s vision of ‘Happy, Healthy at Home’ we want to offer more choice and control to people on how they use their short break (respite) allocation in order to support informal care arrangements whilst increasing the independence and resilience of the person receiving support. Phase one of the review is looking at the residential respite offer, with phase 2 exploring an enhancement of home and community based options. We wish to involve providers in this review and ask that those interested register here and save the date for our first awareness session to be held via Microsoft Teams on 30th March at 2pm-3.30pm.
