Tender description

Personal gas detection equipment is a critical piece of safety equipment for Marine Surveyors in the Maritime & Coastguard Agency. Its use is mandated in Instructions to Surveyors (MSIS 30) and the task of survey and inspection should not be undertaken without a reliable fully charged gas detector. The MCA has a requirement to purchase One Hundred and Thirty Personal Gas Meters to be used by MCA Surveyors for personal protection when entering dangerous or enclosed spaces.
