Holyrood Park is unique in its setting within the heart of Edinburgh on account of its archaeology, geology and flora and as such is protected as a scheduled monument holding SSSI status. The park is a 650-acre site which is open to the public. The work is for general path repairs and erosion control. The appointed contractor must be able to begin work as required from the point of contract award.
