Market engagement prior to the procurement of sexual and reproduction health services

Tender description

Wirral Council are currently considering options for the future design and procurement of their Sexual Health Services, with a view to commencing the proposed new service/s on 1st April 2024. As a part of this process, the commissioners of this service are keen to capture provider experience, skills, knowledge and concerns at an early point to ensure these can be fully considered throughout the service and procurement design phases. The services in scope include: (1) Integrated Sexual Health Clinical Services, (2) Community Based Long-Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC) Services, (3) Community Based Emergency Hormonal Contraception Services and (4) Online Sexual Health Services. (5) HIV/STI Prevention and Support. Lot 1: Prior to commencing any formal public procurement process the Council wish to engage with interested providers and undertake a formal market engagement. The over-all arching aim of the market engagement exercise is to establish and understand the market appetite for the service and brief suppliers on the service required by the Council providing an opportunity to seek feedback.
