DFI 4769886 Retail Assessments: Supermarket Off Crescent Link, Co. L’derry (RE-ISSUE)

Tender description

The Client invites tenders to provide the service for Retail Assessments. The service is for the provision of specialist expertise to assist the Department in the processing of a ‘called in’ planning application. The core tasks are: • Preparation of a comprehensive independent Retail Impact Assessment (RIA), assessment of need, and sequential test, and report the findings to the Department; • to review of relevant information submitted with the planning application as it pertains to the RIA and other retail documents; and • to support the Department during the processing of the application in relation to retail matters, including attending internal and external meetings as required. • Should it be required, being dependant on the outcome of the planning decision, to represent the Department as an expert witness, if necessary, at pre hearing meetings, contribute to the Department’s statement of case, rebuttals and attend any Planning Appeals Commission (PAC) hearing for the necessary number of days at any future hearing.
