<p>Blackpool Council have committed to developing youth provision for children and young people from age 8 – 25 years across Blackpool with an ambitious target of having provision within a 20 minute walk of every young person in Blackpool. Following some analysis of current provision, it has been identified that the wards of Ingthorpe and Greenlands lack any dedicated youth club provision and therefore the intention is to lease out both the Whiteholme Community Centre and former Blackpool Rangers Clubhouse facilities primarily for delivering youth activities. Blackpool Council are looking for a provider with a proven track record of delivering youth club provision in line with the NYA’s National Curriculum Framework, who has a vision for developing youth provision from the two facilities outlined in this document, that engage children and young people from eight years and upwards.</p> Keywords: youth, provision, activities, educational, youth club, national curriculum
