Tender description
The Arts Council is seeking to establish a panel of Creative Associates (CAs) to support the delivery of the Scoileanna Ildánacha/Creative Schools initiative. CAs are artists or creative practitioners with a deep understanding of creativity and its potential to transform the lives of children and young. Creative Schools is a flagship initiative of the Creative Ireland Programme to enable the creative potential of every child. Creative Schools is led by the Arts Council in partnership with the Department of Education and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. The initiative is also informed by the Arts Council’s ten-year strategy (2016–25) Making Great Art Work: Leading the Development of the Arts in Ireland. The Arts Council wishes to engage between 100 and 120 CAs to work in up to 400 schools across the Republic of Ireland. We particularly welcome new applicants and encourage applications from all areas of the community Suitably qualified personnel may apply: as 1. Individuals: those working on a freelance basis in the arts/creative sectors by applying for a contract for services between themselves as individuals and the Arts Council. 2. Organisations: those working in an arts/creative organisation by applying for a contract for services between the organisation and the Arts Council. All queries must be emailed to creativeassociates@artscouncil.ie. Deadline 12.00 hours on 11th April 2023. Applications must be completed and submitted via Jotform by 12.00 hours on Tuesday 18th April 2023. You can access the Jotform online form here.
