Supply of Parallel Plate Rheometer

Tender description

Tender to establish a single supplier framework for the supply of Parallel Plate Rheometer and Aftersales Support. To complement the enhancement of thermoplastic processing capability, CPI are looking to procure a new, parallel plate rheometer with enhanced features such as to carry out the rheometry characterisation at an enhanced temperature to aid with the development of these formulations. This PPlate rheometer will be used for the characterisation of polymeric formulations at a trial scale for the development of novel blends. Blends will be modified based on these study results to provide further optimisation. The interest area is broad and it will include commodity polymers, engineering polymers, biopolymer, adhesives, gels liquids etc. The main take-off from this PPlate rheometer will be understanding the viscoelastic properties of the polymeric material and in turn ability to predict its performance on a real time application.
