Donegal County Council has published this tender on behalf of ''AN GRIANÁN THEATRE MANAGEMENT COMPANY CLG having their address at Port Road Letterkenny, County Donegal‐ F92 RV1F - An Grianan Theatre Management Company CLG' is the Project Owner and Contracting Authority for this contract. This tender is for the Provision of Architect Led full Integrated Design Team (AIDT) services including the main service provider with the internal and external specialists in a single all-in package incorporating all required design, technical, and management services in order to ensure successful completion of the project, on time and cost-effective. The services include but are not limited to the following: 1) design, 2) tendering, 3) construction (works) contract management 4) construction quality control, and certification of works. 5) cost control. The project as envisaged at this stage will have two distinctive elements of the proposed works: 1 (A) The Studio: Creation of a new Studio space at the first/upper ground floor of the existing building. The studio space will be used for education and development activities in the performing arts such as drama classes, movement workshops, and small-scale performances. It should include facilities for a full blackout, sound, and lighting facilities. Ideally, the new space will include a sprung floor to allow movement and dance workshops to take place there. The space should have capacity options for up to 25 people moving and 60 seated. 2. (B) The Box Office: Modifications in the existing box office on the ground floor to create a reception desk that has improved disability access including wheelchair accessibility for both the public and theatre staff For a detailed description please refer to the attached RFT documents.
