Tender description

Somerset NHS Foundation Trust was formed on the 1st of April 2020 by the merger of Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Taunton and Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. The Decarbonisation and Infrastructure Plan seeks to provide a roadmap to achieve net zero carbon operation focusing on the scope 1 and 2 emissions associated with operational energy: while considering the embodied carbon of the interventions. In addition, there is a requirement to provide a strategy to upgrade/enhance the existing acute site (Musgrove Park Hospital) Mains Water (CWS) and Medical Gas Pipeline System (MGPS) infrastructure services to support the expected future development of the site in line with the Estate Strategy, Green Plan and New Hospital Programme.
