Young Hackney, part of The London Borough of Hackney Children’s and Families Service, is currently in the process of exploring ways in which existing resources can be used to enhance partnership working across a range of universal, sport, targeted play and youth work programmes for children and young people aged 6-19 (and up to 25 for young people with SEND) Lot 1: Young Hackney, part of The London Borough of Hackney Children’s and Families Service, is currently in the process of exploring ways in which existing resources can be used to enhance partnership working across a range of universal, sport, targeted play and youth work programmes for children and young people aged 6-19 (and up to 25 for young people with SEND) The Council now wishes to consult with providers across the sector and has organised a ‘Provider Engagement’ event to assist in shaping its commissioning process which, in turn, will be used to inform a re-procurement of these services. We will be seeking to engage a wide range of providers to respond to the more specific needs of Hackney’s diverse communities. The provider engagement event will take place on Wednesday 19th April 2023 2pm to 4pm* via the Google Meets Platform. Further details about our requirements will be forwarded to those organisations who express an interest via the London Tenders Portal. Providers are requested to only click on registering their interest if they plan to attend. By expressing an interest, you will automatically be signed up to attend the event. At the event, providers will be given the opportunity to listen to the Council’s vision and to contribute to the discussion on how the Council can help with: - Proactively developing local knowledge and relationships - Using resources to best support children, families and communities. Providers who previously expressed an interest in attending the event on 2nd March will automatically be registered for this updated event and sent an invitation nearer the time.
