Project Management of Large Scale Public Realm Murals in Wicklow Town

Tender description

Wicklow Town Team is seeking tenders from suitably qualified organisations / individuals with expertise and experience to project manage all aspects for the creation of large scale public realm murals in five designated locations in Wicklow Town. Full part 8 planning is now in place for this project. This ‘ Connectivity’ project seeks to reanimate and revitalise the important links between the main street, south quays, harbour and the market square in Wicklow Town. Through the creation of maritime inspired murals, it will highlight Wicklow’s Town heritage and historical links to the Irish Sea and all that she has inspired. The five locations are, The Scouts Hall (South Quay), The Doctors Steps, Salthouse Lane, Quarantine Hill and Market Street. Submissions should over all project management costs associated with the creation of large scale murals in five locations in Wicklow Town. The project management is to include ALL processes involved for creation of the murals from start to completion – to include artist(s) selection, management of the creative content of the murals, presentation and agreement & sign off of same with Wicklow Municipal District & Wicklow Town Team, all materials / costs associated with the painting of the murals, all payments to the artist(s) (to include subsistence and travel) and any other associated costs.
