PRF 1640 - Independent Design Check Services

Tender description

PCC require a Category 3 Independent Design Check for the design of a pedestrian footbridge in accordance with CG300 Technical Approval of Highway Structures included in the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges. Preliminary design has been completed. The supplier will be required to review and agree the principles of the design and sign the Approval In Principle (AIP) document when all has been agreed with the design team. On completion of the detailed design an independent design check is required based on the final design drawings. The supplier will provide a full evaluation document, along with a completed Check Certificate as part of the commission.
