Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) Outputs

Dumfries and Galloway Council are seeking offers from suitable service providers to undertake the treatment and recycling, recovery, or disposal of Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) Outputs. Lot 1: MBT Plant Fines This lot will provide treatment and disposal of materials of MBT Plant Fines: This output from the MBT is the fine organic material smaller than 8mm. It also contains sub 8mm fractions of plastic and glass. Delivered to the Service Provider by the Council, loose, in articulated walking floor vehicles. (EWC 19 12 12) Lot 2: MBT Plant Dust This lot will provide treatment and disposal of MBT Plant Dust: This output from the MBT is the fine organic dust from the MBT plant's dust extraction system. Delivered to the Service Provider by the Council in roll-on roll-off skips. The dust material will be contained in 'elephant' bags within the skip.
