Award of Litter Bin Housing and Fill Level Sensors (PKC 12036)

Tender description

Perth & Kinross Council wishes to increase the efficiency of its city centre waste collection services through the implementation of fill level sensors to the area’s litter bins. This will be achieved by providing real time data relating to the litter bins fill level, enabling collections to occur when they are necessary as opposed to the current system which results in litter bins having scheduled collections, regardless of their capacity. We are looking to purchase metal bin housing units for 240L waste containers, that come pre-fitted with fill-level sensors.
