Notification of an Award previously advertised The Contract award notice is to inform the market that the Council has awarded a contract to Llamau to deliver specialist Housing Related Support (HRS) inclusive of Accommodation and floating support for individuals aged 16 - 24 through the Housing Support Grant (HSG). The contract period is from the 01 June 2022 - 31 May 2026 with an option to extend for a further 48 months The contract spend includes any possible extension periods Contract award notice for Housing Support Grant Funding Lot 1: The Aims of the Services are: To reduce the Levels of homelessness and incidences of repeat homelessness Use of inappropriate temporary accommodation Number of emergencies resulting in intensive services being required Levels of rough sleeping (including those who could be considered as the “hidden homeless”). Levels of crime and disorder. To deliver Housing Related Support that promotes Access to appropriate settled accommodation A wider choice of appropriate housing and support Independent living within a chosen environment Financial management: budgeting skills to minimise risk of debt accruing, maximising income Life skills; self-confidence and self esteem Domestic skills including cooking, cleaning, use of household appliances, reporting repairs while not carrying them out for the individual Stable lifestyles, social inclusion, and community cohesion Access to training and education, develop skills to achieve qualifications Skills required by employers; ability to apply for work or volunteering Access to community-based services (sport, library etc.) Healthy lifestyle choices, better able to manage physical and mental health, access to GP, dentist, opticians, mental health services, counselling etc. Access to emergency and planned health care Good parenting skills where applicable To demonstrate a commitment to multi-agency working. To deliver a professional, flexible, innovate, responsive, non-judgemental, and liberal support service To develop collaborative ways of working which are ambitious and inclusive, underpinned by good information sharing arrangements, with a full range of appropriate agencies. 2To demonstrate a commitment to multi-agency working as this is the key to maintaining the safety of young people with support needs To provide a seamless transition between services to meet additional identified needs To improve the value for money of public services Full details are in the ITT. Please note that the estimated cost is the estimate cost per annum Ex VAT for the maximum number of years, four years with the option to extend for up a further period of forty-eight (48) months.
