<p>PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR COMPETITION Soft Market Engagement: Adult Substance Misuse Treatment Service Introduction Bolton Council’s adult substance misuse treatment service contract current expires in 2024.</p> <p>We are exploring all options, one of which includes soft market engagement with the sector. There are numerous challenges and opportunities, particularly the additional grants that include SSMTRG, RSDATG, D&amp;R funding and the likelihood of IPS.</p> <p>Future indicative allocations within the SSMTRG are driven by current performance, with a particular emphasis on increased numbers in treatment. A common retender risk is a short-term drop in numbers in treatment. However, such a risk could leave a new provider with reduced grant funding to address the issue.</p> <p>We are therefore interested in the views from Providers on whether bidding for a new contract during such exciting, yet risky and uncertain times is something your organisation would pursue.</p> <p>This process does not constitute a formal tender or other competitive bidding process and will not result in the letting of a Contract.&nbsp;</p> <p>The commissioners are using this process solely to test the market to gather information and ascertain the level of interest in these particular services.</p> <p>There are therefore no formal criteria which we will use to judge your responses, and it is not our intention to provide any feedback.</p> <p>Please return your completed questionnaire electronically by email by 16:00 hours on 14th March 2023, to the email address commissioning@bolton.gov.uk with the subject heading: ‘Soft Marketing Questionnaire – Adult Substance Misuse Treatment Services’.</p> <p>Please note, questions in relation to this SMT, must be raised via the messaging section on The Chest.</p> Keywords: Market Testing, Adult, substance, misuse, treatment
