Refurbishments of Infrastructure On-Track Maintenance Machines

Iarnród Éireann – Irish Rail is seeking suitably qualified candidates to participate in the tender process for the refurbishment of : Two No. 08 Universal Tampers 742,743, One No. 09-2x Plain Line Tamper 744, One No. 08 P&C Tamper 751 and One No. RM 90 Ballast Cleaner 781. It is envisaged that these refurbishment works shall be carried out over a maximum 4-year period and it is intended that only one of these machines shall not be available for service at any given time over the life of the contract. The refurbishment works shall include but not limited to renewal/overhaul of tamping banks, conveying system, rewiring of electrical systems, upgrading of hydraulics, pneumatics, bogies, measuring systems, structural repairs, and painting.
