Tender description

Work done so far Defence Digital has contracted for Non-Standard Service Request contractor support since 2016. Which phase the project is in Live Existing team The Non-Standard Service Request Team is led by a Senior Crown Servant based at Corsham. The current contractor team consists of a Programme Manager, Project Support, Architects, Senior Delivery Managers and Delivery Managers. The number of Crown Servants is also increasing and will provide project delivery of NSSR projects as well. Address where the work will be done A very small, full time management team will be required to work at MoD Corsham, Westwells Road, Corsham, Wiltshire SN139NR to join the existing Crown Servant NSSR Management. This is required at least once a week at present although may change in the future. Non-Standard Service Requests are delivered across multiple sites in the UK and overseas, at multiple locations. Travel will be necessary to all parts of the UK and there will be a requirement for occasional overseas travel. Working arrangements The contractor team will be required to manage all the deliveries they are allocated. Therefore, a Programme Manager should be available to attend MoD Corsham at least once a week and report to a Senior Crown Servant who will provide strategic direction. Programme Manager attendance at MOD Corsham is likely to be at least one day per week but frequency may increase throughout the duration of the contract. Delivery Managers should work into the Programme Manager and should be able to travel to sites in the UK and overseas if required. The contractor Programme Manager should manage and run the programme, seeking only advice and guidance from the Senior Crown Servant where it is considered necessary. Due to constraints within the Contract Award Service, we are unable to present the 2 x 6 month options within the "Contract Length" area of the advert. The work will be to provide project management support to enable the delivery of Non-Standard Service Requests for customers in the UK and overseas. Delivery Managers currently work from their home environment and visit sites in the UK and overseas where necessary to support the business requirement, for example site surveys and stakeholder meetings pertinent to the delivery of specific NSSRs. Where the supplied staff will work No specific location (for example they can work remotely) Who the organisation using the products or services is Strategic Command, Defence Digital, MOD Corsham Why the work is being done Defence Digital utilises numerous Managed Service Providers who provide capability-tested products and services. Customers can order these through Non-Standard Service Requests and as such, project management support is required to manage the provision of these deliveries. The business problem you need to solve Programme Management and Delivery of 260 concurrent Non-Standard Service Requests including, in addition Programme Management of Non-Standard Service Requests delivered by Crown Servants in the team. First user type: Defence Front Line Commands and Top-Level Budgets Enter more details about this user type: All Defence Front Line Commands and Top-Level Budgets demand products and services through Non-Standard Service Requests. Other Government Agencies may also use NSSRs to purchase the same products and services, all of which are capability-tested and available for delivery. Defence Digital customers may order data and voice communication products such as links, data access devices and secure telephony. Questions and Clarifications 1.
