United Utilities is currently reviewing their strategy for Industrial Cleaning Services by undertaking pre market research, the Company can then evaluate the current market capability and capacity to identify its future commercial sourcing strategy for these services. The Company has its own in-house Vactor services team that manage the Companies’ scheduled industrial cleans. The Company has its own 9x Rigid vacuum trucks, 9x Jetvacs and 3x disabs to undertake this work. Where emergency incident work or the volume of scheduled work exceeds that of the internal fleet and resource capacity within the Companies internal team, a framework of Industrial Cleaning suppliers are utilised to support and deliver the additional services. An external framework of suppliers is required to support the Company for works above and beyond their current internal fleet/resource capacity both in hours and out of hours.
