Tender description

EirGrid is seeking to engage the market for Expressions of Interest which ultimately shall include the procurement of offshore marine survey activities. Subsequently EirGrid would like to establish a qualification application from competent companies to conduct seabed surveys for EirGrid (and on behalf of their marine advisors) potentially for the delivery of survey services for, but not limited to, the ORESS1,2 & 3 project phasesfor pre-construction, construction and operations and maintenance activities EirGrid may seek to establish a framework contract for an organization(s) capable of acting in this capacity. EirGrid envisages that the framework would run for a period of five (5 )) years with potential options to extend during the initial framework period. Interested Candidates should submit their Expression of Interest response in line with this document. (PART 2 – EOI Questionnaire). EirGrid envisage qualifying multiple candidates from the subsequent pre-qualification process (at phase 3 below), subject to the quality of responses received. The objective of this Expression of Interest process is to ascertain suitably qualified companies who may ultimately be invited to tender for a Marine Survey(s) framework. This document provides a brief description of EirGrid’ s future requirements for this contract as well as details of the services we may wish to procure. The Marine Survey campaign(s) may consist of geophysical, geotechnical, visual and environmental route investigation surveys along designated route(s) in and around the waters of the Republic of Ireland.
