Tender description

Riverside Scotland invite tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors in relation to entering into an agreement (the Contract) to provide legal services for Riverside Scotland. The Contract is for an initial term of 4 years with the option to extend for 1 period of 12 months subject to satisfactory performance. Maximum contract duration including extensions is 5 years. The contract is to cover requirements for Riverside Scotland only as all other entities within The Riverside Group Limited are governed by the laws of England and Wales Riverside Scotland is undertaking this procurement as a below threshold open tender The Scope of services is set out below however additional ad hoc services may also be required including but not limited to development services, contractual disputes, and ad hoc commercial property advice if required. a) Treasury and Finance services Treasury and Finance services as required from time to time including but not limited to finance; regulatory advice; governance; charity law; financial returns, charging; assistance with ad hoc lender queries b) Housing Management The areas within the scope (which is not an exhaustive list) are: Contentious – e.g., gas and electrical access injunctions, arrears management, evictions, ASB, estate management issues, boundary/land ownership issues, factory liability, possession proceedings and housing condition claims. Non-Contentious – e.g., service of tenancy notices, guardianship, and sheltered accommodation. Policy – e.g., draft form documentation and advice on procedures. Governance & Regulatory advice including updates/training sessions including but not limited to insurance advise in respect of notifiable events. c) – Property The areas within the scope (which is not an exhaustive list) are: Residential Property – e.g., purchase and sales of residential units, and factoring issues. Advice on contracts management agreements and tenancy advice. Governance & Regulatory advice Riverside Scotland intends to appoint a single supplier that has the ability to provide legal advice across all areas of expertise. In addition, Riverside Scotland also reserves the right to call off any additional adhoc and associated legal services with the appointed supplier.
