Collection and Treatment of Waste materials from Recycling Centres

Tender description

The removal of waste materials from Belfast City Council recycling centres for the purpose of separation and distribution to treatment facilities and reprocessing centres for recycling and where appropriate energy recovery with landfill as a last resort. A single Bidder may be appointed for each for Lot, although a Bidder may be awarded more than one Lot should they demonstrate they have the capability and capacity to do so. Lot 1 - Mixed Waste Timber: For the removal of waste timber materials from Belfast City Council recycling centres for the purpose of separation and distribution to treatment facilities and reprocessing centres for recycling and where appropriate energy recovery with landfill as a last resort. Additional information: Quality weighted at 30% Social Value weighed at 10% Lot 2 - Hard Plastics: For the removal of hard plastic materials from Belfast City Council recycling centres for the purpose of separation and distribution to treatment facilities and reprocessing centres for recycling and where appropriate energy recovery with landfill as a last resort Lot 3 - Plasterboard: For the removal of waste plasterboard materials from Belfast City Council recycling centres for the purpose of separation and distribution to treatment facilities and reprocessing centres for recycling and where appropriate energy recovery with landfill as a last resort.
