2674 - Supply of Flow Booths

CPI require flow booths for Cleanroom 4 to contain flammable atmospheres within the flow booths and provide operator protection, while maintaining ISO 8 requirements. Further information can be found by downloading the tender pack from Public Contracts Scotland. Lot 1: Supply of Flow Booths The manufacturing process uses flammable solvents, primarily acetonitrile. CPI's Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre is not ATEX rated, so equipment must be contained within flow booths to prevent flammable atmospheres extending into the cleanroom. Operating in flow booths also reduces operator exposure to harmful compounds being handled during manufacturing. The flow booth design should minimise modifications to the cleanroom’s existing air supply and extraction systems.
