The client is “Stephenstown Pond Trust Ltd” and the contract will be for the construction of a playground on an open space at Stephenstown Pond, Knockbridge, Co. Louth.

Tender description

The contract is for preparation of the site, the supply and installation of all play equipment, laying of safety surfacing including all internal and perimeter kerbing and footpaths, depending on your design. All ground works including internal and perimeter kerbing and footpaths will be the responsibility of the successful contractor. Kerbing / paving brick is to be provided to all edges of surfacing within the development including edges of grassed areas & planted areas. It is imperative that the facility will be open to the general public by 1st of July 2018. The budget including VAT is €112,500. (Tenders should not exceed this amount) This should allow for the supply of materials and installation of the elements associated with the following operations. Play equipment, ground preparation, impact absorbing surfacing, and construction of all internal footpaths(self binding gravel) with timber edging, Insurance, H&S related information, Project Designer/Supervisor, waste disposal etc
