Request for Information (RFI) - Revalidation of National Microbiology Framework

Tender description

UKHSA is in the process of developing its approach to pandemic preparedness for pathogens (known and unknown) in the future. This RFI is seeking to develop UKHSA's understanding of the feasibility of different contracting models for the provision of high volume, high throughput PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) diagnostic testing capacity in a manner which delivers a value for money and scalable service. The RFI will form part of UKHSA's preparedness plans and is not part of a procurement process. The issuance of this RFI does not constitute a sourcing exercise and no contracts are anticipated to be awarded because of the information provided, nor will the Authority pay any costs incurred by respondents in the preparation of a response to this RFI.
