Due to the diverse nature of DIT operations and its transitioning to the Grangegorman Campus, the Institute is continuously procuring various goods and services that range in value, complexity and impact to the business. The sourcing for these goods and services is generally conducted by various individuals throughout the Institute. The Central Procurement Department of DIT oversees these procurement processes to ensure that each competition is conducted in compliance with national and EU procurement regulations, as applicable, and provides advice and assistance in order to ensure that each such process delivers the outputs that support the business needs of DIT and allows for the achievement of value for money.
