Provision of temporary scientific and support staff (Agency Workers) under a four-year single supplier framework agreement for the Office of NREC

Tender description

The Office for National Research Ethics Committees (NRECs) is a newly established office, hosted by the Health Research Board (HRB), and working under the auspices of the Department of Health. The primary function of the Office for NRECs is to deliver a robust and transparent system for NRECs that provides competent and timely ethical review of research applications to protect the safety, dignity and wellbeing of research participants, as well as promoting and facilitating high quality research. The Office of NREC may require agency resources over the next number of years. The initial post under the Framework is for a Project Officer for three months commencing in July. The Framework will be set up for four years and cannot exceed €214,000 over the four years, Full details of the role are included under Appendix 1 in the RFT.
