Market Engagement Event for Carers Support Services

<p>The London Borough of Brent is seeking a Service Provider to deliver Carers Support Services. We would like to invite interested providers to a virtual presentation delivered on Microsoft Teams outlining our requirements on 19th January 2023, 10.30am - 11.30am. The Council intends to commission a single organisation or consortium to deliver services; the service will need to respond innovatively and creatively by working in partnership with service users, family/carers, housing or other providers and to develop pathways with existing community services for example, GPs and community health services. The current service supports carers ages 8-18 and adult carers aged 18+ in Brent and delivers the following • Carer-specific information and advice services and offer carers' assessments • Carers' support groups and opportunities to come together and network. • Training programmes to support carers in their caring role. • Young carer activities, trips, and events during term time and school holidays • Advocacy support and champion young carers' rights • Carry out Early Help Assessments (EHAs) We encourage the providers to embed co-production into their delivery of services so that users of services are integral to the continued shaping of local services.
