Westminster City Council wishes to invite tenders for the provision of Canal Wall Repairs and associated works at Harrow Road Open Space, London. Works include but not limited to; new in-situ concrete capping beam, general repairs and installation of balustrading and associated works. Register interest in this ITT via: https://www.capitalesourcing.com/web/login.shtml Lot 1: Harrow Road Open Space (HROS) is adjacent to a parade of shops know as Canal Terrace to the west of Maida Hill Market. The site is bound by the Harrow Road to the north, the Grand Union Canal to the south, Canal Terrace to the East, and Flora Pub to the West. Currently the space is used as a small pocket park, although is underused. The site is one of few locations where the Harrow Road comes into contact with the Canal, which is a great opportunity to increase public access to open blue space. However, currently this connection is blocked by railings, vegetation, and level change. The scheme consists of repairs to the canal wall at Harrow Road Open Space (Contractors Design Portion). Consisting of 2 no. areas of repairs to the canal wall. New in-situ concrete capping beam (400x400mm) and associated works. Supply and installation of new balustrading and associated works.
