Development of a Town Master Plan for Carrick-on-Shannon

Tender description

Leitrim County Council wishes to contract a suitably qualified and experienced multi-disciplinary team to prepare a Town Centre Master Plan for Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim to the year 2040. The team should be led by a suitably qualified Urban Designer / Town Planner to perform all necessary analyses and diagnoses to deliver a tailored and bespoke Town Centre First Master Plan. The vision for the Master Plan is to assist in the creation of a unique sense of place in the town, with well designed, high quality, active urban spaces enabling the town to become a better place to live, work and run a business ensuring the vitality and vibrancy of the town into the future. The plan will identify key projects / actions to further the realisation of this objective. This project is supported under the Government’s Our Rural Future Programme which sets out a long-term vision for a vibrant and sustainable rural Ireland.
