Tender description

Waterford and Wexford Education and Training Board, on behalf of the Board of Management of Glenbeg National School, is tendering for a Full Design Team comprising four individually appointed Consultants as follows: Architect, Civil and Structural Engineer, Building Services (M&E) Engineer and Quantity Surveyor for project management and design consultancy services for the full design, statutory approvals; planning, fire, and DAC, tendering process, procurement and subsequent periodic inspections and certification of construction of works to Glenbeg National School. Note: A separate competition for the appointment of a PSDP will run using the DES PSDP Framework. The accommodation comprises of the following: • 1 x mainstream classroom including en-suite toilets 95 m2; • 1 x mainstream classroom including en-suite toilets 95m2 (prefab replacement); • 1 x 19m2 SET room; • 1 x 19m2 SET room (prefab replacement); • 2 x SNU classrooms 292m2; • 1 x PE/Assembly Hall approx 120m2 (please note that this element of the project, while run in tandem with the rooms listed above, will be funded in its entirety by the school and that the funding stream for the two projects is to be kept entirely separate).
