Tender description
The Isle of Wight Council (“The Authority”) intends to award a one-off contract for the provision of Gift Cards. The VEAT notice is being issued to inform the market of our intentions and to commence a 10 day stand still period prior to the contract being awarded. Lot 1: The Isle of Wight Council (“The Authority”) intends to purchase 3,417 individual Wight Gift Cards. Wight Gift Cards can be used at a variety of outlets on the Isle of Wight, which will in turn support local businesses of the Isle of Wight; by ensuring that this funding remains on the Island, boosting the Island economy and supporting its regeneration through this support for local businesses. We intend to award this contract by utilising Regulation 32 of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
