The Contracting Authority seeks a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to supply, deliver and commission a system capable of measuring the reflectivity and optical loss of highly reflective optics. The Contracting Authority seeks a suitably qualified and experienced supplier to supply, deliver and commission a system capable of measuring the reflectivity and optical loss of highly reflective optics. The Contracting Authority seeks a solution that can confirm to the non-exhaustive requirements listed below: The system will be capable of measuring a minimum reflectivity of 99.999%, tat is optical power losses of 10 ppm. The system will be provided along with a set of well characterised reference optics of known reflectivity for calibration. The system must be capable of measuring the optical losses of 0.5” and 1” diameter test optics at normal incidence as well as 5-45 AOI. The Contracting Authority requires the system's test optics be easily interchangeable. The system should be capable of characterising reflectivity at wavelengths of 1064nm, 1550nm and 2000nm with the relevant light source(s) included within the system. The system requires the ability to measure at other wavelengths either initially or as a retrofittable upgrade. The successful supplier's offer will include the delivery of the solution to the University of Strathclyde's confirmed location in the Tender documents.
