PPE Ref 8167 Direct Award for the Provision of Cascade eVue IV Digital Imaging System The upgrade of original equipment from Cascade (now FormFactor after the take-over of Cascade by FormFactor) original parts and by authorised Cascade dealers. Justification (Procurement Regulations) – 6(1)(b)(ii) A contracting authority may award a public contract without seeking offers in relation to the proposed contract where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons- competition is absent for technical reasons.
