<p>As part of the Government&rsquo;s response to Covid-19 and the restrictions imposed on society, local authorities across England have been able to apply for funding from the ERDF Welcome Back Fund (WBF) to support the recovery of our high streets. Worcester City Council has developed a comprehensive action plan to help kick start the recovery of our high streets.</p> <p>Worcester City Council is inviting quotes for the provision of a Place Promotion App for Worcester.</p> <p>Our goals for this App are to:</p> <ul> <li>Encourage Worcester residents and visitors to visit our hospitality and cultural venues, and tourism attractions</li> <li>Provide information about services, retail (independent and national chains), events and attractions in the city</li> <li>Build resilience in Worcester&rsquo;s businesses</li> <li>Increase footfall to our shopping areas and dwell time once there</li> <li>Boost attendance at events</li> <li>Share key information from the Council and our partners</li> </ul> <p>The scope of the project entails:</p> <ul> <li>The research, design, provision and day-to-day management of the app</li> <li>Recruitment of businesses to the app, and their onboarding</li> <li>Working closely with the council to ensure that key messaging is appropriate</li> <li>Monitoring of App usage and the provision of user data/insight reports</li> <li>The App should be available on all mobile operating systems (e.g., Apple &amp; Android)</li> </ul> <p>Please see the procurement documents for further information</p> Keywords: App Design
