Tender description

This is not a tender competition, no tender documents are available at this stage. This is a prior information notice. HEAnet intends to issue a number of individual tenders in the areas of: IT consulting, software development, internet and support, computer network services, computer related services, local area network services, security services, higher education services, e-learning services, installation services (except software), postal and telecommunications services. There is no guarantee that contracts will arise, but interested parties should note that as and when contracts arise they will be advertised on the Irish government procurement portal ww.etenders.gov.ie and the Official Journal of the EU(where applicable). The areas may be awarded as contracts or framework agreements. The start dates are not known at this stage. HEAnet will issue calls for competition in due course.
