Tender description
The Contracting entity is seeking Preliminary Market Consultation for Transformer Oil Services. The purpose of this Preliminary Market Consultation is to : 1.Inform potentially interested parties of ESB’s intentions, through which ESB is seeking to establish a single frameworks. 2.Obtain a deeper understanding of market Participants (vendors, implementers, prime contractors and advisors), their products and solutions, their implementation capabilities, as well as any existing or potential delivery partnerships that the Participant is involved with or plans to be involved with. 3. Understand the optimum procurement strategy across key parameters including contract duration and; 4. Understand the optimum contracting strategy for various oil services deployments, with differing interfaces. Further details is in the information pack provided. Lot 1: This Information Memorandum, including the preliminary market consultation questionnaire (“PMCQ”) and any other updates or clarifications subsequently sent to interested parties (together the “preliminary market consultation documentation”) is issued in relation to the establishment of a national framework to cover the following in ESB Generation & Trading power stations and windfarms: ESB Generation & Trading now requires service provision for the compliant storage, collection, transportation, recycling, recovery, final end processing and disposal of Hazardous Waste, Biohazardous Waste, Batteries and Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment from its Generation stations, wind farms, battery sites, other renewable sites and temporary Construction Sites in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. In addition, each year overhaul work at various locations will involve peak waste volumes and the successful contractor will be required to work with ESB local management in each location to ensure that this work is managed in an efficient and effective manner.
