NWSSP on behalf of Cardiff and Value UHB have been requested to purchase a GRIDION™ MK1 from Oxford Nanopore Technologies. Oxford Nanopore is listed as a supplier on Public Health England National Microbiology Framework Lot 1. The framework allows for direct award on technical justification. Further details within the main description of this notice Lot 1: This notice is to confirm a contract will be placed with Oxford Nanopore Technologies for the purchase of the GridION™ Mk1. The contract will be direct awarded on technical grounds via Public Health England National Microbiology Framework Lot 1. Patents held by Oxford Nanopore Technologies in Europe and the United States, GridION Mk1 cannot be offered by other companies.
