Tender description

NHS Highland is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking group of GP's to deliver the contract for medical services in Invergordon and Alness. Invergordon Medical Practice is located within Ross-shire in the Scottish Highlands within easy commuting distance to the city of Inverness. The practice is based within modern premises with a branch surgery in the neighbouring town of Alness. With a population of 14,000 patients the practice is undergoing significant transformation under Health Board management. NHS Highland is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking group of GPs to take on the contract for medical and additional services as previously provided in Invergordon and Alness. Experience of delivering high-quality primary medical services is essential combined with an ethos of developing a multi-disciplinary primary healthcare team. Evidence of a commitment to patient safety; a track record of quality improvement; and a commitment to education and training will be required.
