Energy Advisory Services to Laois, Offaly, Longford, Roscommon and Westmeath Local Authorities The services required can be grouped as follows: 1. Strategic Advice and Support 2. Energy Audits, etc. . 3. Leisure Centres 4. Project Pipeline 5. Training, and Outreach to Communities 6. Technical Advice and Support 7. Energy Efficiency Projects and Energy Generation Projects Lot 1: Energy Advisory Services to Laois, Offaly, Longford, Roscommon and Westmeath Local Authorities The services required can be grouped as follows: 1. Strategic Advice and Support – focusing on longer-term organisational wide solutions, development of policies and identifying funding for energy efficiency. 2. Energy Audits, etc. – carrying out DECs, energy audits, feasibility studies, and business cases. Energy audit must take into account carbon analysis, the public sector targets of 50% RES heat & 50% carbon savings, and include the plan to get to BER B. 3. Leisure Centres - Leisure Centres have been identified as Significant Energy Users (SEUs) in each Local Authority in the MEA. it is required that Energy Audits are conducted by a specialist consultant 4. Project Pipeline - determine the most cost effective and carbon effective projects to be undertaken to reach 2030 targets and beyond. 5. Training, and Outreach to Communities – provision of training and seminars to encourage staff and the general community to embrace energy efficiency and to progress energy efficiency projects. 6. Technical Advice and Support - Capital Projects and M&R Assistance 7. Energy Efficiency Projects and Energy Generation Projects – carry out specific aspects of energy efficiency and energy generation projects including analysis and post project evaluation
